In Bronx, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across New York do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bronx follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Mostly everything except the cookies seem like they are baked everyday. I even went in one time and had a batch baked for me so I could have a cheese danish. The baked goods I've had so far are very good and the drinks are standard. The staff are also friendly and it is relatively quiet.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Little Italy tradition worth every stop! Whenever we head to the Bronx for Italian cold cuts and fresh homemade ravioli, stopping at Delillo Pastry Shop is part of the tradition. We simply can’t leave without it. Their cappuccinos are excellent—my personal favorite is the Nutella cappuccino—and my 6-year-old always asks for their rich hot chocolate. Before leaving, we always grab a gelato to go and pick up a box of pastries for the week. Everything we’ve tried has been fresh, delicious, and beautifully made, and they offer a wonderful variety of classic Italian desserts. The shop itself is small and cozy, which adds to its authentic neighborhood bakery charm. Just keep in mind that there isn’t a dedicated parking lot, so you’ll need to find street parking—and in Little Italy, that can definitely require a little patience! If you’re visiting Arthur Avenue, Delillo Pastry Shop is a stop you shouldn’t skip. It’s one of those places that keeps you coming back year after year.

Delillo pastry shop is one of those neighborhood gems to sit and enjoy exceptional coffee and pastries that are out of this world in quality. We highly enjoyed their Eclairs and Cappuccinos. They also sell a variety of Torrone flavors and we bought several as a gift for family. The shop employees were so nice and helpful as well. This is truly a great place to stop and sit either inside, or out on the patio, and enjoy true Italian pastry. The only downside is that our stomachs ran out of room! It was nice to know that they also ship out of state! We will certainly be getting more in future.

I love this bakery. Their cappuccinos are so fluffy, their pastries are never dry (ask to get them warmed up), ambiance is warm and inviting. They have icecream and an assortment of baked goods along with gifts. Aside from being a good place to sit down and decompress, they also are a great spot to get themed items like birthday cakes. Right now they have really cute valentine items. The apple turnover is really delicious I added a picture of it along with one of the pastry display cases and a berry and cream cake they made for my friends party. It wasn’t too sweet, the cake was light and airy. They also have really good tres leches and tiramisu in a cup.

De Lillo—Celebrating 100 Years of Sugar, Butter, and a Lot of Bronx Pride I never miss an opportunity to stop by De Lillo…where delectable delights drive me into a delirium driven by a desire for delicious danishes and divinely dark-roasted coffee. 🤓 You don’t survive a century in the Bronx without earning it, one pastry at a time. The cappuccino was a little piece of heaven, the desserts were just a tad sinful, and the whole experience felt like a visit to the Holy Chapel of buttercream and chocolate. If you find yourself anywhere near Arthur Ave., De Lillo is an essential pilgrimage. Highly recommend!
